Tiger’s eye ritual to build confidence at work
Tiger’s eye is a stone with golden and brown bands that shines like a cat’s gaze. Traditionally it has been carried as a talisman of courage, composure and clarity. In this ritual you turn it into an anchor: every time you touch it, you remember what you are good at and give yourself permission to speak. It is ideal if you find it hard to speak up in meetings, present a project or ask for what you need at work.
In short: Tiger’s eye is a stone with golden and brown bands that shines like a cat’s gaze. You need 4 simple items and 5 steps. When: On a Tuesday, the day of Mars, linked to courage, or on a Sunday, the day of the Sun.
When to do it
On a Tuesday, the day of Mars, linked to courage, or on a Sunday, the day of the Sun. Also the evening before a meeting, a presentation or an important conversation with your team.
What you need
- A small polished tiger’s eye stone
- A card and a pen
- A mirror
- A glass of water
Step by step
- Wipe the stone with a soft cloth or leave it for a few minutes in the morning sun by the window. Hold it in your hand and take three deep breaths.
- On the card, write three proofs of your worth at work: a problem you solved, a compliment you received and something you are good at.
- Below them, write a single sentence you want to say at your next meeting, for example: “I have a proposal to improve this.” Rehearse it three times in front of the mirror, standing tall with the stone in your hand.
- Drink the water slowly and say: “I speak calmly; my ideas have value and deserve to be heard.”
- Carry the stone in your pocket and the card in your diary. Before you speak, touch the stone, recall one of your three proofs and say your sentence.
Safety first
These rituals are symbolic. Do not ingest herbs or oils, ventilate the room when burning incense or herbs, and never perform a ritual to harm or control anyone.
To finish
After the meeting, note on the card how it went, even if it was a small step: confidence grows with practice. The stone is small and could be swallowed, so keep it out of reach of children and pets. If you feel insecurity often holds you back, talk about it with someone you trust. To open yourself to new career opportunities, pair it with the pen ritual.
