Achievement list ritual to grow in your career

We tend to remember our mistakes and forget what we do well. This ritual invites you to write down your achievements calmly, see them all together and turn them into talking points. It is ideal before a performance review, asking for a pay rise or updating your CV.

In short: We tend to remember our mistakes and forget what we do well. You need 4 simple items and 5 steps. When: On a Thursday, the day traditionally linked to Jupiter and growth, at the end of a quarter or a week before an important meeting.

When to do it

On a Thursday, the day traditionally linked to Jupiter and growth, at the end of a quarter or a week before an important meeting.

What you need

  • A notebook or a few sheets of paper
  • A pen and a highlighter
  • Your planner or calendar from recent months
  • A paper clip or a small bulldog clip

Step by step

  1. Sit somewhere quiet and look back through your planner for the past few months: projects, problems you solved, people you helped.
  2. Write down at least ten achievements, big or small, starting each one with a verb: "organised", "improved", "learned"…
  3. Highlight the three you are proudest of and add a figure to each one (time saved, clients, results).
  4. Read those three aloud and say: "I recognise my worth and I show it clearly."
  5. Clip the list to the first page of your planner and use it to prepare your meeting or your CV.

Safety first

These rituals are symbolic. Do not ingest herbs or oils, ventilate the room when burning incense or herbs, and never perform a ritual to harm or control anyone.
